Start by gently blotting the stained area with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Avoid rubbing stain, as this can cause it to spread.
Mix a solution of warm water and laundry detergent and apply it directly to the foundation stain. Let the stain soak in the solution for at least 10 minutes before moving on to the next step.
After the stain has had time to soak in the detergent solution, apply a little bit of stain remover to the affected area. Allow remover to sit for a few minutes before washing the garment.
Set your washing machine to the gentle cycle and use cold water. Add a capful of laundry detergent and let the garment wash. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can discolor your jersey.
After the cycle ends, take your jersey out of the machine and check the foundation stain. If it hasn't completely disappeared, proceed to step 6.
Create a new solution of warm water and laundry detergent and then soak your jersey overnight. This should help to loosen the stain and make it more easily removable.
If foundation stain is still visible after soaking the jersey overnight, repeat the steps above. You may need to repeat them several times before stain has been fully removed.
