No matter how often you wear them, jeans are some of the toughest and most versatile pieces of clothing you can own. The only downside is when foundation or other makeup stains stick to fabric. But don’t worry—you can get rid of those pesky little marks with relative ease if you follow instructions below.

What You'll Need:

  • A clean cloth
  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Laundry detergent

Instructions:

  1. Dampen the stained area with room-temperature water using a clean cloth.
  2. Mix together an equal amount of dish soap and distilled white vinegar; use this to gently scrub the stained area in a circular motion.
  3. Mix up a paste using baking soda and water, and apply it to the stain. Let the paste sit for about 30 minutes.
  4. Rinse away the paste with lukewarm water, then wash the jeans in the washing machine with laundry detergent on a normal cycle.
  5. If necessary, repeat steps 2 through 4 until stain is completely gone.

Congrats! Your jeans should be good as new now that the foundation stain is removed.
