The first step in removing foundation stains from Jacquard is to blot them. Use clean paper towels or cloths and gently dab at stain. Don’t rub it as this could spread the stain further and cause more damage. Keep blotting until no more foundation is coming off.
Next, make a paste by mixing 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with 1 cup of warm water. Dip a clean white cloth into the paste and apply it to the stained area. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Rinse the paste away with lukewarm water. Gently blot the area dry with a clean cloth or paper towels. It’s important not to rub the area as this can damage fabric.
If the stain remains, use a stain removal product specifically designed for Jacquard. Follow the instructions on the packaging and use a clean cloth to gently apply the product to the stained area. Then, rinse with lukewarm water and blot dry.
Once the stain has been removed, you can launder fabric as usual. Make sure to check care label first to ensure you are washing properly!
By following the steps outlined above, you should be able to remove foundation stains from Jacquard quickly and easily. Be sure to clean up any spills right away and pretreat any stubborn stains before laundering.
