What You'll Need
- Oxygen bleach
- Borax powder
- White vinegar
- A clean, white cloth
Instructions
- Start by blotting the foundation stained area with a clean, white cloth to remove any excess.
- Mix together 1/2 cup of oxygen bleach and 1/2 cup of warm water in a bucket. Submerge stained area and let it soak for 10-30 minutes.
- Mix together 1/2 cup of borax powder and 1 cup of hot water in a bucket. Submerge the stained area and let it soak for 10-30 minutes.
- Mix together 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of hot water in a bucket. Submerge stained area and let it soak for 10-30 minutes.
- Rinse area with cool water and scrub lightly with a soft-bristled brush. Allow the jacket to air dry.
Tips for Remove Foundation Stains From Your Jacket
- If the foundation stain persists, try using a bit of baking soda to gently scrub it away.
- It's important to use an oxygen bleach, as chlorine bleach can damage the material of jacket.
- Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly after each step, and allow the jacket to air dry before wearing.
