Step 1: Soak in Warm Water

Fill a bowl with warm water and a mild detergent, such as dish soap, and soak your headband for 30 minutes. This should help loosen any dirt and makeup that has built up on the material.

Step 2: Rub with a Soft Cloth

Once you’ve soaked headband, take a soft cloth and rub vigorously in a circular motion. You may need to use some elbow grease in order to get stains completely removed. Make sure to rinse the cloth often so that you don’t just move the stain around instead of removing it.

Step 3: Rinse and Spot Clean

After you’re finished scrubbing, rinse the headband in lukewarm water. If there are still stubborn stains remaining, you may need to spot clean with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Dip a cotton ball into the mixture, then gently dab stained areas.

Step 4: Dry and Wear

After your headband has been thoroughly cleaned, set it out to air dry for a few hours. Once it's completely dry, you're ready to wear and enjoy your newly clean headband.
