What You'll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Clean cloth or sponge

Step 1: Scrub the Stain

Grab a clean cloth or sponge and dip it in white vinegar. Using the cloth, scrub the stain in a circular motion. The vinegar will help break down and lift the foundation from the cutting board's surface.

Step 2: Make a Paste

Mix equal parts baking soda and white vinegar together in a bowl to form a paste. Apply the paste directly to the stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Once the paste has had time to set, rinse off the cutting board with warm water. Use a clean cloth or sponge to remove any lingering paste residue. Finally, dry the board with a dry cloth or paper towel.

With These Steps, You're All Set!

Your cutting board is now free of foundation stains. We recommend cleaning your cutting board before and after each use to keep it looking its best.
