Using an absorbent cloth, apply some lemon juice directly onto the stain and gently rub. Don't scrub too hard, as this could damage the fabric of your shirt. The acidity of the lemon will help break down the stain and make it easier for you to remove.
Once you have rubbed the lemon juice onto the stained area of the shirt, rinse it out with cold water. This will help remove any remaining lemon juice and ensure that the acid is no longer left on your shirt.
Mix up a solution of detergent and cold water in a bowl. Submerge the stained area of the shirt and let it soak for about 10 minutes. This will help lift foundation stain from the fabric.
After soaking the shirt, pop it into the washing machine and launder as normal. Choose a hot cycle to help break down any remaining foundation residue.
After the shirt has finished the washing cycle, hang it up to air-dry. Avoid using a dryer, as the heat from the machine could cause the stain to set even more.
If the stain has not completely gone after following above steps, you may need to repeat them until stain is fully removed.
