Before you can tackle those stubborn foundation stains, you'll need to gather the supplies you will need for the job. You will need some rubbing alcohol, a soft bristled brush, a clean cloth, and a stain removal solution.
Once you have your supplies handy, it's time to pre-treat foundation stain. Start by pouring some rubbing alcohol directly onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. This will help to break down the stain and make it easier to remove.
Once the pre-treatment has had some time to work on the stain, it's time to get scrubbing. Using a soft bristled brush, start to gently scrub away at the stain. Make sure to work in small circular motions to ensure all of stain is lifted off of fabric. Be patient and continue to scrub until the stain is removed.
If after scrubbing the stain is still visible, you may need to repeat the process. Start by pouring a bit of stain remover directly onto stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then use the soft bristled brush to scrub the stain once again. Remember to be gentle when scrubbing, and to continue until the stain has been completely removed.
Once stain has been completely removed, it's time to clean up. Start by using a clean cloth and cold water to rinse off the area. This will help to ensure that no remnants of the stain remover or rubbing alcohol remain on the coat. Let the coat dry completely before wearing or storing.
