Start by pre-treating stained area with a stain remover or laundry detergent. Make sure to use a gentle detergent and dab gently onto the stained area.
Once you’ve dabbed some detergent onto the stained area, create a solution of warm water mixed with one teaspoon of laundry detergent, one teaspoon of white vinegar, and two tablespoons of Borax. Soak the chiffon fabric in this mixture for at least an hour.
After fabric has been soaking for an hour, gently rinse it off and repeat the soaking step before rinsing the fabric again. This should help get rid of any leftover foundation stains.
Once you’ve finished rinsing, lay the fabric on a soft cloth or towel and let it air dry. Make sure to avoid direct sunlight as this might cause fading. Once dry, inspect fabric for any remaining stains.
