Tips to Remove Foundation Stains from Clothing

  1. Start by turning the item inside out and brushing off any excess foundation with a soft brush.
  2. Apply pre-wash stain remover to the affected area and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Wash the item in the warmest water temperature that is safe for the fabric.
  4. If the stain remains, repeat steps 2-3.
  5. Check stain before drying and if it is still present, apply a liquid detergent directly to stain and wash again.

Additional Tips

  • Be sure to always read the care label and determine what water temperature is best for the garment.
  • Do not dry the item until the stain is completely removed.
  • Do not iron the stained area until the stain is gone.
  • If at-home remedies do not work, seek professional cleaning advice.
