Step 1: Pre-treat the stain
Using a stain remover, pre-treat foundation stain according to the instructions on the product label. Allow the pre-treatment to sit for at least five minutes before moving on to the next step.
Step 2: Put the blouse in the washing machine
Put the blouse in the washing machine with a mild detergent. Choose the cold water setting, and be sure to set the wash cycle to the gentlest cycle for delicate clothing. Add a color-safe bleach to the load, if desired.
Step 3: Let the blouse air dry
Once washing cycle is complete, remove the blouse and let it air dry on an absorbent towel. Make sure the blouse is completely dry before wearing it.
Step 4: Check for remaining stains
Once the blouse has fully dried, check to see if there are any remaining stains. If so, repeat steps one and two with a stronger stain remover. Once all the stain is removed, you’re good to go!
