What You'll Need
- Liquid detergent
- A white cloth
- Cold water
Instructions
- When you notice the makeup stain, you should immediately blot it with a white cloth, to absorb any excess liquid.
- Create a mixture of cold water and liquid detergent, and dip the cloth into it, and then dab it onto makeup stain. Do not rub the fabric, or you may cause more damage.
- Once you have dabbed the mixture onto the stain, rinse the cloth and blend again. Continue this until the makeup stain lifts off the fabric.
- Once the makeup has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and repeat the blotting process with a dry cloth.
- Finally, hang the blazer onto a clothesline to air dry. Do not put the blazer in washing machine or tumble dryer.
Tips and Tricks
- If the foundation stain still remains after trying the steps above, try a small amount of rubbing alcohol on blazer, to further remove the stain.
- Do not use hot water or a washing machine on your blazer; this will cause the fabric to shrink and make stain worse.
- To avoid foundation stains in the future, always keep a few facial wipes in your purse or pocket for quick makeup touch-ups on go.
