When it comes to getting foundation stains off of acrylic surfaces, it can seem like an uphill battle. But with a bit of time and right techniques, you can get rid of those pesky spots and keep your acrylic surfaces looking their best. Whether you're dealing with a stain on your kitchen countertop or a spot on your shower wall, here are some tips on how to clean foundation stains from acrylic.

Method 1: Using Dish Soap & Water

The easiest way to remove foundation stains from acrylic is by using a combination of dish soap and warm water. First, fill a bucket or basin with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Dip a soft, non-abrasive rag into the soapy water, wring it out, and use it to gently scrub the stained area of acrylic. Rinse the area with clean water after scrubbing and repeat the process if necessary. Be sure to dry the acrylic surface with a clean dry cloth after rinsing to prevent water spots.

Method 2: Using a Paste of Baking Soda & Vinegar

If stain is particularly stubborn, make a paste of baking soda and white vinegar and use it to scrub the stained area of the acrylic. Mix equal parts baking soda and white vinegar until you have a thick paste. Then, apply the paste to stained area and use a damp cloth or sponge to rub the area in circular motions. When the stain has faded, rinse the area with warm water. Dry the acrylic surface with a clean dry cloth afterward.

Method 3: Using a Commercial Cleaner

If the above methods don't work, you can also try using a commercial cleaner specifically designed for acrylic surfaces. To use this method, follow the instructions on the cleaner's label for best results. You may need to purchase a special cleaner depending on the type of acrylic surface you are trying to clean.

By following above steps, you should be able to successfully remove foundation stains from acrylic surfaces and get them looking like new again. While this process may take some patience and effort, it's worth it to restore the look of the acrylic.
