  • Cold water
  • Liquid detergent

  • Borax

Steps

  1. First, dab affected area with cold water to remove as much of stain as possible.
  2. Mix one tablespoon of liquid detergent with two tablespoons of white vinegar in a small bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture onto the affected area. Let it sit for 5 minutes before proceeding.
  4. Rinse the cloth with cold water until the mixture is removed.
  5. Sprinkle a bit of borax over the affected area.
  6. Use an abrasive pad to scrub out the foundation stain. Be sure to scrub gently so that you don't damage the fabric.
  7. Finally, rinse the cloth with cool water to remove the borax.

Additional Tips

  • If the foundation stain is still present after following the steps above, you can try using a stain remover. Just be sure to follow instructions on the product carefully.
