What You Need

  • Towel
  • Spray bottle
  • Baking soda
  • Dish soap
  • Vinegar
  • Clothes brush

Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step to cleaning any type of stain is to blot it as soon as possible. Take a towel and press it firmly against the stain. This will help to absorb the majority of the residue and prevent it from spreading.

Step 2: Create a Paste

In a bowl, mix together equal parts of baking soda and dish soap. Stir mixture until it forms a paste, then use it to cover the stain. Leave the paste on for approximately 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Step 3: Spray with Vinegar Solution

Fill a spray bottle with warm water and vinegar. Apply the solution to the stained area and let it set for 5 minutes or so. This will help to break down the stain even further.

Step 4: Brush Away Remaining Residue

Take a clothes brush and gently scrub away the remaining residue. Be sure to use short, light strokes in order to avoid damaging fabric of the wrap dress.

Step 5: Air-Dry

Once all of the stains have been removed, hang the wrap dress up to dry in a well-ventilated space. Avoid putting wrap dress in the dryer as the heat may set the remaining stains.
