If the feces stain is fresh, use a paper towel or cloth to blot up as much liquid as possible, then rinse with cold water to reduce the stain’s impact on the fabric.
For extra tough stains, apply a specialized stain remover like OxiClean or Biz to affected area and let it sit for 15 minutes before continuing with your routine. Never use bleach, which can weaken the fabric of watch.
Once the stain remover has been applied, rinse the watch with cold water. Be sure to use plenty of water to remove any leftover detergents or soaps.
Using a soft brush, scrub the stained area gently in a circular motion. This will help to loosen the fecal matter and further break down stain.
Repeat the steps above as needed until the stain is completely gone. If necessary, you can also seek professional cleaning advice or services.
Once all of the cleaning steps are finished, let the watch air dry in a warm, clean place. Never use a hairdryer, heat lamp, or other heated device to dry the watch.
Once watch is dry, use a specially formulated watch-polishing cloth to bring out its natural luster and shine.
By following these seven simple steps, you can easily clean feces stains from watches without having to worry about damage to the band or face.
