Removing Feces Stains From Venetian Lace

  • Start by gently brushing away any solid particles with a soft brush.
  • Gently spot wash the affected area with cold water, using a mild detergent.
  • Rinse the stained areas of the lace with cold water. Do not scrub or rub fabric excessively.
  • If the stain persists, try soaking the fabric in a solution comprised of 2 tablespoons of white vinegar mixed with 4 cups of cold water for 15-20 minutes.
  • When finished, rinse the lace fabric with cold water and dry with a clean towel.
  • If the stain is still visible, try applying a stain remover directly to the fabric and rewashing.
  • If stain is still present after that, your only option may be to take the lace fabric to a professional cleaner.
