It is important to act quickly when dealing with a feces stain on Teneriffe lace. The longer you wait, the more difficult it will be to remove it.
Using a soft-bristled brush, gently brush away any solid particles that may be left on the fabric. Be careful not to rub or scrub too hard as this may damage the delicate fabric.
Mix a small amount of mild detergent with warm water in a bucket or bowl. Stir until the soap is completely dissolved and then allow mixture to sit for a few minutes.
Using a sponge or soft cloth, soak the stain in the soapy solution for approximately 10 minutes. Do not rub or scrub the stain as this may cause further damage to the fabric.
Rinse the area with clear, cool water until all of the soap is removed. Hang fabric up to air dry.
Cleaning a feces stain from Teneriffe lace can be tricky but it is possible with the right steps. Follow these 5 steps and your lace should be good as new.
