Step 1: Blot the Stain

Using paper towels or a cloth, blot up as much of the solid material as you can. Do not rub stain as this will only cause it to spread.

Step 2: Pre-treat with Detergent

Mix a few drops of mild detergent in cool water, and use a cloth or sponge to apply it to stain. Let it soak for about 5 minutes, then blot it with a dry cloth.

Step 3: Use an Enzyme Cleaner

Spray an enzyme-based cleaner — such as Nature's Miracle or Urine Off — directly onto the stain. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before blotting with a dry cloth.

Step 4: Rinse the Stain

Place the fabric under running cold water, and blot to remove any remaining detergent or enzyme cleaner.

Step 5: Launder the Fabric

Wash the fabric in cold water using a mild detergent. Check for any remaining stains before drying, and repeat steps 2-5 if necessary.
