- Color-safe bleach
- Oxygen-based bleach
Instructions
- Wash soiled area with liquid detergent and a clean cloth. Focus on the stained area gently rubbing detergent into the fibers. Add a teaspoon of Borax or white vinegar to the detergent before applying it to the fabric. This will help lift stain from the fabric.
- Rinse the area with cool water and blot with a clean cloth to remove soap.
- If the stain is still there, repeat steps 1 and 2 using color-safe bleach instead of detergent. Apply the bleach and let sit for 5 minutes before rinsing.
- If stain is still present, repeat steps 1 and 2 using oxygen-based bleach instead of detergent. Check the instructions on the packaging for the correct application times.
- Once the stain is gone, rinse the area thoroughly with cool water and allow sweater to air dry.
