If the feces stain is relatively fresh, it's easier to remove. Since you should avoid using harsh chemicals on delicate sundresses, begin by using a bit of lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Gently scrub the fabric with the mixture to loosen any remaining dried-on feces. After that use a damp cloth to dab the stain (not rub it, as this will only spread the stain).
If the stain has been there for some time and won't come off easily with detergent, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with a teaspoon of baking soda — these two ingredients together create a natural fizzy cleaning agent which will help break down the stain. Soak a cloth or cotton ball in mixture and dab the stain until it disappears.
Another option is to apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol directly to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then use a soft cloth to dab at the stain, and it should start disappearing. You may need to do this several times in order to completely remove the stain.
If none of the above methods is successful in removing the stain, you can take sundress to a dry cleaner. Professional cleaners have access to special solvents and cleaning agents that can effectively remove stubborn feces stains.
