The first step is to remove as much of the solid waste as possible. Use a paper towel to scrape away any excess that hasn't been absorbed by the slippers. Be careful not to damage the material.
Now, you will use a stain remover of your choice. Before applying it, make sure to test it on an inconspicuous area of slippers (like the inside of tongue or footbed) to make sure it won't discolor them.
After applying pre-treatment, place the slippers in the washing machine and set to a hot cycle. Make sure that all pieces of the slipper are included so they will all be cleaned.
Once they are finished washing, it's time to put the slippers in the dryer. Use the hottest setting available, as this will help to kill bacteria, germs, and any residual waste.
When the slippers are dry, inspect them for stains and odor, and you'll find that they are now good as new!
