Start by pre-treating the stain with a bit of enzymatic detergent or a fabric pretreatment spray. Work the product into the fabric using your fingertips and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
After pre-treating the stain, rinse it with cold water to remove as much of fecal matter as you can. Use a damp microfiber cloth to gently scrub the area until it's clean.
Fill a bucket or large basin with cool water and add a few teaspoons of enzymatic detergent. Place the silk faille fabric in soapy water and soak it for an hour before rinsing. Repeat process if necessary.
Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and liquid laundry detergent in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture directly onto the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse the fabric thoroughly and repeat the process until the stain has lifted.
Sprinkle baking soda over the fecal stain and allow it to sit for an hour. The baking soda should help to draw out the remaining stain from the silk faille fabric. Vacuum up the baking soda when you're done.
If all else fails, try laundering the fabric using a gentle enzymatic detergent. Place silk faille in washing machine and select a delicate cycle. Be sure to use cold water and only add a quarter cup of detergent. Once the cycle is complete, hang the fabric to air dry or tumble dry on low.
