The first technique is the simplest and most common method of poop stain removal. Start by wetting stained area with hot water and then generously apply liquid detergent. Allow stain to soak for about 10 minutes. After that, you can either launder the shirt according to the care label’s instructions or handwash it in a sink. Repeat the same process until the stain is completely gone.
If the previous technique didn’t work, you may need to resort to using an enzyme-based cleaner. These products contain special enzymes that break down organic material like feces, vomit and urine. To use this product, mix it with warm water and apply it directly onto the stain. Allow the cleaner to sit for about 15 minutes. You can then launder or handwash the shirt as usual.
If the previous methods still haven't removed the stain completely, you can then try combining baking soda and vinegar. Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 1/4 cup of white vinegar to create a paste. Spread the paste over the stain and let it sit for about 30 minutes before laundry. This should help remove any remaining debris from the fabric.
