Before you begin cleaning the feces stains, make sure you have the following supplies: paper towels, warm water, dish soap, laundry detergent, rubbing alcohol, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda.
Once you have gathered all of your supplies, start by soaking the stained area in water for a few minutes. This will help loosen up the feces and make it easier to remove.
After the stained area has been soaked, apply either dish soap or white vinegar to the area and scrub gently. This will help to break down the feces further and make it easier to remove.
After you have scrubbed the stained area with either dish soap or vinegar, rinse the area off with warm water to remove any residue. You may need to repeat this step a few times to fully remove the feces.
Once you have rinsed off the area and it is free of fecal matter, apply either rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to the area. Allow solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing off.
Once you have followed all of the above steps, you’re ready to launder the item. Use a gentle cycle, and add laundry detergent, baking soda, and vinegar to the wash to help neutralize and remove any odors.
