Ingredients You'll Need

  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Glycerin
  • Clean rag

Instructions

  1. If you are working with fresh feces stain, use an unused rag or paper towel to remove as much of solid material as possible.
  2. Once solids are gone, mix a cleaning solution of one-quarter cup laundry detergent, one cup white vinegar, and two cups of warm water in a bowl.
  3. Using a clean rag, dab the cleaning solution onto the affected areas. Rub the mixture gently into stain until it is completely saturated.
  4. Once stain is saturated, let it sit for fifteen minutes.
  5. After the waiting period is over, use a clean cloth or sponge to dab cool water onto the area to rinse the detergent mixture away.
  6. If there are still traces of the stain visible, make a paste out of baking soda and glycerin. Use a clean rag to apply the paste to the area, let it sit for fifteen minutes, and rinse it away with cool water.
  7. Allow the fabric to air dry, and then inspect for stains.
  8. If any traces remain, repeat the steps above until the stain is completely gone.

Conclusion

Removing feces stains from sari fabrics doesn't need to be such a difficult task. With the right ingredients, you'll have your garment looking as good as new in no time.
