1. Start by Blotting Away the Excess Moisture

If the feces stain is fresh and still wet, you'll first want to blot away any excess moisture. Use paper towels or an old towel and a gentle pressing motion to soak up any remaining liquid. This will help reduce the stain and make it much easier to remove.

2. Prepare a Solution of Laundry Detergent and Water

In a bowl, combine two parts laundry detergent to one part warm water. Then mix it until it forms a thick paste.

3. Apply the Paste to the Stain and Let It Sit

Using a soft cloth or an old toothbrush, apply paste directly to soiled area. Once the entire stain is covered, allow the paste to sit for 10 to 20 minutes. This will help lift the stain and make it easier to remove.

4. Rinse with Warm Water and Blot Dry

After the paste has had time to work its magic, use a damp cloth to rinse away any remaining residue. Blot the area dry with paper towels or an old towel.

5. Repeat as Necessary and Let Air Dry

If the stain is still present, you may need to repeat the above steps. Again, allow the paste to sit for 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse it away. Once you are satisfied with results, let the area air dry.
