Supplies You Need

  • Cleaning supplies: laundry detergent, white vinegar, baking soda.
  • Sponge/rag
  • Bucket or sink

Step 1: Pre-treat with Detergent

Dampen a sponge or rag with lukewarm water and add a couple of drops of laundry detergent. Blot the feces stain with the sponge or cloth until the detergent covers whole stain. Let sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 2: Treat with White Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix together equal parts white vinegar and baking soda. Apply this mixture to the feces stain on the poplin and scrub the mixture into stain using a sponge or rag. Let the poplin sit for about 10 minutes so the vinegar and baking soda can work its magic.

Step 3: Rinse and Dry

Rinse the stained area of the poplin with cold water in the sink or bucket. Rub it gently with a sponge as you rinse so that the mixture is removed. Hang the poplin up to dry or lay it flat and let air-dry.
