Materials Needed

  • Laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Leather cleaner/conditioner
  • Soft cloth
  • Old toothbrush

Steps to Clean Feces Stains from your Poncho

  1. Start by scraping off any excess debris from the surface of your poncho using an old toothbrush. Be careful not to push too hard and damage the fabric.
  2. Use a soft cloth to dampen the area where the stain is with warm water. Keep the fabric wet while you move on to the next step.
  3. Mix a solution of laundry detergent and white vinegar together – one tablespoon each of detergent and vinegar should be enough. Apply the mixture to the stained area and gently rub it in using a circular motion. Let the mixture sit for five minutes.
  4. If your poncho is made of leather, use a leather cleaner/conditioner to gently scrub the affected area. Let product sit for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse the poncho with warm water until all detergent and leather cleaner has been washed away. Dry the fabric with a clean cloth.

Conclusion

With these simple steps, you can remove tough feces stains from your poncho and have it looking as good as new in no time!
