Steps to Clean Feces Stains from your Poncho
- Start by scraping off any excess debris from the surface of your poncho using an old toothbrush. Be careful not to push too hard and damage the fabric.
- Use a soft cloth to dampen the area where the stain is with warm water. Keep the fabric wet while you move on to the next step.
- Mix a solution of laundry detergent and white vinegar together – one tablespoon each of detergent and vinegar should be enough. Apply the mixture to the stained area and gently rub it in using a circular motion. Let the mixture sit for five minutes.
- If your poncho is made of leather, use a leather cleaner/conditioner to gently scrub the affected area. Let product sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Rinse the poncho with warm water until all detergent and leather cleaner has been washed away. Dry the fabric with a clean cloth.
Conclusion
With these simple steps, you can remove tough feces stains from your poncho and have it looking as good as new in no time!
