Start by creating a solution of warm water and detergent. Make sure to use a mild detergent and avoid harsh chemicals, such as bleach or ammonia. Soak the mask in this solution for 20-30 minutes. This will help loosen feces stain, making it easier to remove.
Next, take the mask out of the detergent solution, rinse it off with cold water, and gently scrub the stained area with an old toothbrush or other soft bristled brush. This will help remove the remaining feces stain.
Once you’ve scrubbed the stained area, rinse the mask off with cold water. Repeat the soaking and scrubbing process if necessary, until the stain is completely gone.
Once the mask is free of the stain, hang it in direct sunlight to dry. This will help kill any remaining bacteria.
Cleaning up feces stains from masks may seem daunting, but with these four simple steps it doesn’t have to be. Just remember to be patient and repeat process if necessary. Good luck!
