The first step is to clean off any solid matter that may be left on the surface of your loafers. To do this, you'll want to use a damp cloth – either a paper towel, or a wet rag would work fine – and carefully wipe away any visible feces. If the stain has had time to set, you may need to use a bit of gentle pressure in order to remove it.
Once the solid waste has been removed, the next step is to create a cleaning solution specifically designed to remove fecal stains from your loafers. To make this solution, mix together equal parts lemon juice, white vinegar and water, stirring until everything is fully incorporated.
Finally, dip a clean cloth into the solution and use it to gently rub the affected areas of your leather loafers, taking care not to saturate the material. Next, rinse the area with cold water, using circular motions to really work the liquid into the leather. You may need to repeat this process one or two more times if the stains are still present.
And there you have it! Three simple steps for removing those pesky fecal stains from your favorite pair of loafers.
