Feces stains not only look bad, but also leave behind an unpleasant smell that is difficult to remove. Even so, these stains can be removed with a few simple steps:

  • The first step is to scrape away any solid material with a butter knife or spoon. Discard whatever you scrape away in an appropriate container.
  • Soak the linen in cold water for a few minutes. The longer the better, but make sure to check it every few minutes to ensure it doesn't sit too long.
  • As the stain loosens, use a brush to scrub away the rest of the stain.
  • Rinse the area with cold water, and repeat the brush scrubbing if necessary.
  • Next, launder the item as normal with a quality laundry detergent.
  • To keep the stain from setting in, perform an additional rinse cycle. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the last rinse cycle.
  • Finally, hang or lay the linen out to dry in direct sunlight to further break down any remaining odor.

If the smell still lingers, soaking the linen overnight in a solution of half a cup of baking soda and one gallon of water can eliminate the remaining odor.

Following these steps can help you easily remove feces stains from your linen so it can look and smell better in no time!
