The first step to cleaning any type of stain is to remove any residual moisture. This process is best done by taking a few paper towels and gently pressing them onto the stained area. Do not rub or scrub the area, as this can cause the stain to set further into fabric of your joggers.
After blotting the area with paper towels, it's important to pretreat stain before attempting to wash it out. You can easily accomplish this with a concoction made of equal parts white vinegar and cold water. After mixing together these two ingredients, use a cloth or sponge to dab the mixture onto the stain. Make sure to cover the entire stained area.
Once the stained area is pre-treated, it's time to actually attempt to remove the stain. This can be done by using a laundry machine on a gentle cycle, using cold water and a mild detergent. If the stain still persists after one cycle, repeat the process until it is completely gone.
If the stain still remains after washing, spot cleaning is likely needed. This can be done by making a paste with non-abrasive laundry detergent and cold water. Apply the paste to the stain and allow it to sit for about an hour, then rinse with cold water. If the stain still won’t come out, repeat this process until it is gone.
