Step 1: Spot Treat With Detergent and Water

The first step in removing feces stains from jacquard is to spot treat it with detergent and water. Use a mild laundry detergent and mix it with warm water. Using a clean cloth, sponge, or brush, dip it into the mixture and gently scrub stained area. Pay special attention to the edges of stain so they don’t spread.

Step 2: Use White Distilled Vinegar

White distilled vinegar is a great way to remove stuck-on feces stains from jacquard. Add one cup of vinegar to a gallon of hot water. Dip a clean cloth or brush into the solution and use it to scrub the stained area. This should help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Wash in Washing Machine

Once you’ve spot treated and used white distilled vinegar on the stained area, you can put the jacquard in the washing machine for a full wash cycle. Make sure to choose the appropriate setting for your jacquard fabric type. As always, it’s best to follow instructions given on the care label.

Step 4: Repeat as Necessary

If stain isn’t fully gone after one wash, repeat steps 1 through 3 until it is. Be sure to use a mild detergent and white distilled vinegar each time to avoid damaging the fabric.
