Before throwing the garment into the washing machine, you will need to pre-treat the stained area. For best results, use an oxygen-based bleach product. Depending on the size of the stain, apply a small amount of bleach directly onto it and allow it to sit for approximately 10 minutes.
After the pre-treatment is complete, fill a wash basin or tub with lukewarm water and add a few squirts of laundry detergent. Gently submerge the garment into the water and allow it to soak for 30-60 minutes.
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Using a clean cloth, dab the mixture onto the stained area and rub it in a circular motion. Repeat this process until the stain starts to lighten.
Remove the garment from the water and rinse it under cold running water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly as residue from the detergent and pre-treatment can cause discoloration if not removed properly.
Once the garment is free of residue, place it into washing machine with a normal load of laundry. Add a cup of baking soda for extra deodorizing power and run the cycle on the hottest setting.
By following these simple steps, you can confidently tackle feces stains on J Jill clothing and restore your garments to their original beauty. With some patience and persistence, you can keep your wardrobe fresh and clean.
