To get started on removing the feces stains from furniture, you'll need a few supplies:
When you discover a feces stain on your furniture, the first step is to soak up as much of the liquid as possible. Use paper towels or an absorbent cloth to blot the area – do not rub it.
Once you've blotted up as much of the liquid as you can, pour some rubbing alcohol onto a soft cloth and apply it directly to the stain. Don't pour the rubbing alcohol directly onto the furniture, as this could damage it. Let the rubbing alcohol sit on the stain for 10 minutes.
After the 10 minutes have passed, use a soft cloth to gently scrub the stain with a solution of 1 teaspoon of dishwashing detergent, 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide, and ½ cup of warm water. Be careful not to scrub too hard – use light strokes so that you don't damage the fabric.
Once you've finished scrubbing the stain, rinse the area with a damp cloth and cold water. Make sure that all of the soap solution is removed.
Mix together equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to create a paste. Spread the paste over the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, use a damp cloth to remove the paste.
You're almost done! All that's left to do is let the furniture air dry completely before using it again.
