Eliminating Feces Stains from Your Evening Gown
Accidents happen, and when they involve feces stains on your evening gown it can be a cause for panic. Fortunately, with a few common household supplies, you can get rid of these messes quickly and easily.

Instructions
- If the feces is still wet, blot the area with paper towels or a clean cloth to remove as much as possible.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of dish detergent with two cups of cold water.
- Using a clean cloth or sponge, dip it into the soapy solution and gently rub the stain.
- Once the stain appears to be gone, rinse the area with cool water using a damp cloth to remove any excess detergent.
- If the area is still stained, mix one tablespoon of ammonia with two cups of warm water and repeat steps three and four.
- Once the stain is removed, blot the area with a paper towel or a clean cloth and allow the fabric to air dry.
Tips & Warnings
- Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this can cause it to spread and make it harder to remove.
- Test the soapy solution and ammonia mixture on a hidden area of fabric before applying, to ensure that it does not discolor the material.
- Always wear gloves when dealing with feces to prevent the spread of bacteria.
