Removing feces stains from cotton poplin can be a challenging task, but it doesn't have to be impossible. The key is to act quickly and follow the right steps to ensure success.
What You Will Need:
- Baking soda
- Vinegar
- Liquid laundry detergent
- White cloth
- Soft-bristled brush
- Clean sponge
- Cold water
Steps to Take:
- Start by gently scraping off any solid matter with a soft-bristled brush.
- Rinse the affected area with cold water.
- Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and apply it to stain.
- Gently scrub the stained area with the paste for a few minutes.
- Rinse the affected area with cold water.
- Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Using a clean sponge dipped in cold water, gently scrub the stained area.
- Rinse stained area with cold water.
- Blot the stained area dry with a white cloth.
Additional Tips:
- Do not use hot or warm water, as this can set the stain and make it harder to remove.
