Removing feces stains from cotton poplin can be a challenging task, but it doesn't have to be impossible. The key is to act quickly and follow the right steps to ensure success.

What You Will Need:

  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • White cloth
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Clean sponge
  • Cold water

Steps to Take:

  1. Start by gently scraping off any solid matter with a soft-bristled brush.
  2. Rinse the affected area with cold water.
  3. Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and apply it to stain.
  4. Gently scrub the stained area with the paste for a few minutes.
  5. Rinse the affected area with cold water.
  6. Apply liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  7. Using a clean sponge dipped in cold water, gently scrub the stained area.
  8. Rinse stained area with cold water.
  9. Blot the stained area dry with a white cloth.

Additional Tips:

  • Do not use hot or warm water, as this can set the stain and make it harder to remove.
  • Do not rub fabric together with the liquid detergent, as this can cause additional staining.
  • Be sure to rinse the affected area thoroughly after each step to avoid any residue from remaining on the fabric.
