Removing Feces Stains from Cornelli Lace

The first step in removing feces stains from delicate fabrics like Cornelli lace is to rinse the affected area with cold water. This will help reduce the possibility of the stain setting into fabric. Once you have rinsed the area, fill a bucket with lukewarm water and add a mild detergent, like washing powder or liquid laundry detergent.

Once you have the detergent solution prepared, dunk affected area of the Cornelli lace item into the bucket. Allow it to soak for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, rub the area gently with a soft cloth to help loosen and remove the stain. Rinse area again with cold water and allow to air dry.

Removing Odors

If feces stain has caused an unpleasant odor on the Cornelli lace item, you may want to try adding white vinegar to the detergent solution. The vinegar should help to neutralize any odors that remain on fabric. You can add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the bucket when you add the detergent.

Once you have given fabric item a final rinse, hang up the item outside in the sun. The sun will help to naturally eliminate any lingering odors.
