Step 2: Treat With Dry Cleaning Solvent

Once you have blotted up as much mess as possible, use dry cleaning solvent on a clean white cloth to treat the area. Allow the solvent to sit for a few minutes, then blot up any excess.

Step 3: Wash in Hot Water

Once you have treated the area with solvent, place the item in a heavy-duty washing machine and set it to hottest setting. Wash with a laundry detergent designed for colorfast fabrics and a small amount of white vinegar. Dry the item in the dryer on the highest setting.

Step 4: Repeat as Necessary

If stain has not completely disappeared after the first wash, repeat the steps above until the stain is gone.

Step 5: Bleach (Optional)

If stain still won't come out, you may need to bleaching the area. Mix a solution of 10 parts water to one part bleach and apply it to the affected area with a sponge. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it thoroughly. Allow the item to air dry.
