How to Clean Fecal Stains from a Camisole
- Put the camisole on an absorbent surface, such as paper towels.
- Carefully scrape off any excess fecal material from the camisole using a dull knife. Try not to spread the stain as you do this.
- In a small bowl, mix together one cup of cold water and two tablespoons of salt. Stir the mixture until the salt dissolves. Pour the mixture over the stain.
- Gently rub the solution into the fabric with your fingers. Allow the mixture to sit on the fabric for at least 10 minutes.
- Rinse the salt solution off the fabric with cold water. This will help to ensure the salt doesn’t corrode the fabric.
- In a separate bowl, mix together one cup of white vinegar, one tablespoon of liquid detergent, and one tablespoon of borax. Stir the mixture together until all of the ingredients are dissolved. Pour the mixture onto the stain.
- Allow the vinegar solution to sit on fabric for at least 15 minutes. If necessary, use your fingers to gently rub solution into the fabric.
- Rinse the vinegar solution off the fabric with cold water.
- Mix together one cup of rubbing alcohol, one tablespoon of ammonia, and one tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl. Stir the mixture together until it is completely blended. Pour the mixture over the stain.
- Allow rubbing alcohol solution to sit on fabric for at least five minutes. Use your fingers to rub solution into the fabric if necessary.
- Rinse the rubbing alcohol solution off of the fabric with cold water. The stain should come out with the solution.
- Allow the camisole to air dry.
