Gather the following materials before beginning: a clean white cloth, detergent, vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and a toothbrush.
With a clean cloth, gently blot stain to remove as much of the moisture as possible. Make sure to use a clean cloth each time you blot the stain.
Mix a small amount of detergent with cool water and apply the solution to the stain using a soft cloth or brush. Rub gently in a circular motion until the stain starts to fade.
Rinse affected area with cold water and pat dry with a clean cloth.
In a basin or sink, soak the garment in a mixture of one cup of vinegar and two cups of cold water for 15 minutes. After soaking, rinse the garment with cold water and pat dry with a clean cloth.
Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the remaining stain and rub gently with a toothbrush. Rinse with cold water and pat dry.
If the stain is still visible after rinsing, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to the stain and let sit for about 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and pat dry.
If the stain has been completely removed, launder the garment as normal. If the stain is still visible, repeat the above steps before attempting to launder.
