What You Need

  • Bowl of lukewarm water
  • Gentle detergent
  • Old toothbrush
  • White vinegar
  • Clean rag

Step 1: Rinse in Lukewarm Water

Take the soiled item and put it directly into the bowl of lukewarm water. Gently swish it around to get rid of any excess debris.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

Apply a gentle soap or detergent to the affected area and scrub gently with an old toothbrush. Do not use a rough brush or sponge, as this can cause damage to the fabric.

Step 3: Rinse Again

Rinse off all of the soap and scrubbing residue. Make sure area is thoroughly rinsed for best results.

Step 4: Apply White Vinegar

White vinegar is a natural deodorizer and can help lift stains. Apply white vinegar directly onto the affected area and let sit for up to 10 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse Again

After the 10 minutes is up, rinse the area one last time and use a clean rag to dab away any remaining moisture.

Step 6: Hang To Dry

Hang item to dry. Do not put in the dryer, as the heat can set stain.

And that's it!
