When accidents involving feces occur, no matter where it happens, it's never a good situation. But what do you do when you have feces stains on your baking dishes? While it may seem impossible to get rid of them, there are some easy solutions for removing the pesky remains.

Vinegar and Baking Soda

One of the most effective (and natural) ways to remove feces stains from baking dishes is with vinegar and baking soda. First, mix equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Then spread the paste generously over the area that needs cleaning. Let it sit until the paste has dried, then rinse off any remaining paste with warm water.

Follow this up by spraying the affected area with white vinegar and letting it sit for 10 minutes or so. Afterwards, scrub the area gently with a scouring pad or brush and then rinse with warm water. The combination of baking soda and vinegar should be enough to eliminate the feces stains from your baking dishes.

Soap and Water

If vinegar and baking soda aren't doing the trick, another viable option is to use a mixture of soap and water. Simply make a solution of warm water and dish soap and let it sit on the affected area. After a few minutes, take an old dish towel, dip it in the solution, and scrub the area gently. Rinse area thoroughly with warm water and the feces stains should be gone!

Bleach Solution

If you're in a pinch and need to get rid of the feces stains quickly, you can also use a chlorine bleach solution. Make sure to dilute bleach in an equal amount of warm water, then soak the affected area for at least 15 minutes. After the soaking time has elapsed, rinse the area with warm water and the feces stains should come right off.

Conclusion

Cleaning feces stains from baking dishes may seem like an intimidating task, but it doesn't have to be. Using a combination of baking soda and vinegar, soap and water, or a bleach solution, you can easily get rid of those pesky stains and restore your baking dishes to their former glory.
