Method 1: Using Rubbing Alcohol

You can use rubbing alcohol to dissolve the pigment of the eye shadow and remove the stain from your tie. Make sure that the fabric allows for it before proceeding with this method.

  • Soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and gently dab the stained area.
  • Continue dabbing until the stain starts to fade away.
  • Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then let it air dry.

Method 2: Dish Soap and Hot Water

If the first method doesn't work, you can try using dish soap and hot water. This method is particularly effective at removing oils.

  • Mix one tablespoon of dish soap with one cup of hot water in a bowl.
  • Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and then apply it to the stained area.
  • Massage the cloth gently over the stained area and continue until the stain has faded.
  • Once stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then let it air dry.

Method 3: Vinegar and Water

Vinegar and water is another great way to remove eye shadow stains from white ties. This method works by dissolving the pigment and neutralizing the oils.

  • Mix one tablespoon of vinegar with one cup of warm water in a bowl.
  • Dip a clean cloth into mixture and then apply it to the stained area.
  • Massage cloth gently over the stained area and continue until the stain has faded.
  • Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then let it air dry.
