The first thing you’ll need to do is gently remove any excess eye shadow from your wedge. You can do this using a cotton swab or a soft cloth, depending on how much colour has been transferred. Once you have done this, you’ll need to tackle the stain itself. Here are a few methods that may help:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent with 2 cups of warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and blot at the stain until it begins to disappear.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Apply the mixture to the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing it off with a soft brush.
  • If the stain still won’t budge, you can try using rubbing alcohol. Simply dab a cotton ball or cloth in the alcohol and dab at the stain until it starts to fade.

Once you’ve removed stain, you’ll want to protect your wedge from future staining. You can do this by applying a protective spray or sealer to the wedge. This will create a barrier between the shoe and any cosmetics, making it easier to wipe off makeup if it gets onto your wedges.

By following these tips, you’ll be able to quickly and easily remove any eye shadow stains from your wedges. With the right products and a bit of elbow grease, you can keep your wedges looking beautiful and pristine!
