Things You'll Need:
- Sponge or a Soft Cloth
- Liquid Detergent
- Laundry Stain Remover
- Borax Powder
- White Vinegar
Removing Eyeshadow from Sweatshirts
Step 1: Scrape off any excess eye shadow that has not dried with a spoon or other flat utensil.
Step 2: Choose the method that best applies to the stain:
- For water-based Products: Soak a sponge or soft cloth in some warm water and then apply a few drops of liquid detergent and rub it into the stain. Rinse and repeat if necessary.
- For oil-based Products: Use a laundry stain remover and apply directly to the eye shadow stain. Rub with a sponge or cloth until the stain is gone, rinse and repeat if necessary.
- For All Types: Mix equal parts Borax powder and white vinegar into a paste, apply it to the stained area and scrub with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary.
Finishing Up
Once the stain is gone, put the item in washing machine with detergent and wash on the highest temperature setting for your fabric.
