What You’ll Need

  • A small bowl
  • A tablespoon of laundry detergent
  • A cup of warm water
  • A white cloth
  • Shaving cream
  • A toothbrush

Step One: Make a Solution

In the small bowl, mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent with a cup of warm water. Stir mixture until the laundry detergent has completely dissolved in the water.

Step Two: Soak the Stain

Using white cloth, soak up the solution and then blot it onto the stained area of the sweatpants. Make sure the stain is fully covered, and let it sit for about five minutes.

Step Three: Remove Excess Detergent

After five minutes are up, use the white cloth to blot the stained area again. This will help remove any excess laundry detergent and help prevent further staining.

Step Four: Apply Shaving Cream

Once all of the excess detergent has been blotted away, apply a small amount of shaving cream onto the stained area. Let it sit for about 10 minutes so the shaving cream can work its magic.

Step Five: Scrub the Stain Away

Once 10 minutes are up, grab the toothbrush and start scrubbing area. Make sure to move the brush in a circular motion to get the most effective results. Keep scrubbing until the stain is no longer visible.

Step Six: Rinse and Dry

After stain is removed, it’s time to rinse area with cold water. Once the water has been removed, hang the sweatpants up to dry. And voila! Your sweatpants are as good as new.
