How to Easily Remove Eye Shadow Stains from Your Sports Bra
Sport bras have many advantages: they provide support, help prevent chaffing, and feel great. But when an eye shadow stain appears, it’s time to take action. Here's a guide on how to easily remove eye shadow stains from your sports bra.

Step 1: Create a Solution
Mix together a solution of half water and half white vinegar. This combination will work to deeply clean the fabric and break down the eye shadow molecules that have been absorbed into your sports bra.
Step 2: Treat the Stain
Once the solution is created, liberally apply it onto the stain to ensure the entire area is saturated. Allow the solution to sit for 10 minutes. After, use a soft brush to gently scrub away the stain.
Step 3: Check the Stain
After the solution and light scrubbing, reexamine the stain. If stain still persists, you can repeat step 2 until the stain disappears.
Step 4: Rinse
Once you’ve gotten rid of the stain, rinse off the excess vinegar solution with cold or lukewarm water. Rinse until any residue has been cleared away. You can also hand-wash the entire sports bra if desired.
Step 5: Dry
Once the sports bra is rinsed and any stains are gone, allow it to air dry. Do not put it in dryer as this could set the stain irreversibly.
Additional Tips
- If you don't have white vinegar on hand, dishwashing detergent can also be used as an alternative.
- If you find the stain does not come out, try soaking the garment in a combination of water and oxygen bleach before attempting to scrub at the stain.
