Removing Eye Shadow Stains from Sleep Pants

Eye shadow can easily end up on clothing if you accidentally spill it while applying it. If it gets on your sleep pants, you'll need to act quickly to remove the stain.

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Start by blotting the stain with a clean, soft cloth. This will help to absorb as much of eye shadow as possible and reduce the size of the stain. Do this for at least a few minutes until the area is dry.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol or Detergent

Once the area is dry, use an eyedropper or cloth to apply rubbing alcohol or detergent directly onto the stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes before blotting it with a damp cloth. The stain should start to lift.

Step 3: Rinse with Cold Water

Once most of eye shadow has been removed from the fabric, rinse it with cold water to remove any remaining residue. Make sure to follow the care instructions listed on tag of the sleep pants to avoid damaging the fabric.

Step 4: Let the Pants Air Dry

Once the area has been rinsed, put the pants in a sunny spot to air dry. This will ensure that the eye shadow has been completely removed and that there won't be any lingering stains.

Step 5: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain has not been completely removed after the first cleaning, repeat the steps above. If the stain still does not come out, take the sleep pants to a professional dry cleaner.
